Актуальность исследования обусловлена трудностями дифференциальной диагностики истинного коклюша, вызываемого Bordetella pertussis, и синдрома со сходной симптоматикой, в основе которого могут лежать инфекции другими респираторными вирусами и бактериями. Целью работы является изучение микробиологического спектра коклюшоподобного синдрома у госпитализированных детей и сравнительная характеристика течения заболевания в группах B. pertussis-позитивных и B. pertussis-негативных пациентов. Проведено поперечное исследование с участием 281 ребенка с пароксизмальным кашлем.

The relevance of the study is due to the difficulties in the differential diagnosis of true whooping cough caused by Bordetella pertussis and a syndrome with similar symptoms, which may be based on infections with other respiratory viruses and bacteria. The aim of the study was to investigate the microbiological spectrum of whooping cough-like syndrome in hospitalized children and to compare the course of the disease in groups of B. pertussis-positive and B. pertussis-negative patients. A cross-sectional study was conducted with the inclusion of 281 children with paroxysmal cough.
